You don't become an arctophile by chance.
Often, it all starts with one bear. Just one.
The one you kept. The one you never forgot.
The one that, even years later, still has something to say.
And then one day... you adopt another.

When I create a bear or a frimousse, there's always that special moment.
The moment it "comes to life."
A look. An expression. A presence.
And very often... someone recognizes it.
As if this bear was already destined for that person.

Each piece is unique. And it's just waiting for the right encounter.
🧸 Collecting teddy bears... or feeling?
One might think an arctophile collects.
But in reality... they feel.
They don't choose a bear to complete a series.
They choose it because they can't do otherwise.
It's love at first sight.
Sometimes inexplicable.
This is often what happens with expressive frimousses
They have something different... almost alive.
Handmade collector bears: what makes the difference
When you become an arctophile, you start to see things differently:
- an old-fashioned articulation
- carefully chosen fur
- a hand-sculpted nose
- a gaze that tells a story
And sometimes... even the material becomes important.

What I particularly love is that this passion transcends borders.
Through shows, exchanges, or even just here...
we find ourselves among people who understand.
No need to explain why a bear touches us.
We just know.
